In the Ardennes, Major Bradley begins to recruit airmen with military experience. His
private army's ultimate objective is intended to be V2 testing sites, but in the first
instance their target is a convoy carrying these new weapons. However, a machine
gun which is vital to the operation is damaged and Bradley asks Monique if one of the
evaders - a gunner called Cox - hiding out in Brussels can help. Cox is reluctant as he
had thought his was over...
