Major Nick Bradley returns to the Candide. He immediately meets with opposition from
Monique who does not want her leadership of Lifeline threatened. When Alain is
arrested by the Gestapo, Bradley discovers that the only way to get him out of the
Avenue Louise alive is to strike a deal with a German to pay for his release. However,
the man in question wants one million francs...
