Francois is keen to become a more active member of Lifeline. To this end he
attempts to co-ordinate the evasion of several sets of airmen single-handed. Ignoring
the advice of a patriot called Hervè, he attempts to take one of the men off the hands
of a local group of communists. Francois is unaware that it is these very men who are
plotting to take over Lifeline.
