Character Review - Sally
Sally was one of the youngsters who joined the Whitecross community in New Arrivals. She and the other new recruits took residence in the old mill. Soon after, she became pregnant by Alan. In Over The Hills Charles was delighted when he heard the news, seizing this opportunity to once more preach about the importance of repopulating the world. Sally however was not so pleased with the situation, especially as Alan did not want to make a commitment to her. Nevertheless Charles organised a picnic in her honour to celebrate the forthcoming birth. Sally lost the baby after participating in the dangerous rope game organised by Melanie at the mill.
