Gigi passed away in 2003, after returning to her native Italy. Her other roles included appearances in the TV series Sherlock Holmes - The Red Circle and The Liver Birds and also the film Holiday On The Buses. She was the author of 'Accelerated Learning: Italian' under her married name of Gigi Gatti-Doyle. Her husband, Terry Doyle, edited the book. In later life she studied psychology and became a psychotherapist.
